Dr. Corey Scurlock is the Founder and CEO of Equum Medical, a leading acute care telehealth services company supporting over 200 hospitals nationwide. A critical care physician and former health system executive, he launched one of the nation’s earliest tele-ICU programs in 2011 and has since grown Equum into a platform delivering 24/7 multi-specialty, nursing, and virtual inpatient services that address workforce shortages and expand hospital capacity. Dr. Scurlock completed his fellowship at Harvard Medical School and earned his MBA from Cornell University. He has authored more than 70 peer-reviewed publications, including in The New England Journal of Medicine, and is a frequent speaker at HIMSS, ATA, and the National Rural Health Association.
