Short Papers/Reports

The ConV2X Scientific Committee will accept Short Paper submissions (maximum 5 pages with references), to offer researchers an opportunity to present significant work in progress and can include interactive or graphical formats. Each accepted submission author will be present a 10 minute video to be broadcast at the ConV2X 2023 On Demand program, and papers will be published in the journal. This will provide researchers with an opportunity to share work with a wide global audience.

What makes a good short paper?

Short papers can present ideas and or more speculative concepts; they can also be more controversial, present new applications of old ideas or the reworking of previous studies. Finally, they should be inspirational and spark discussion. Short research papers will present original, previously unpublished work. Submissions describing the work will be reviewed, and accepted submissions will be published On Demand and in the conference proceedings.

Short Paper Submission Content Guidelines

Submissions of short papers must be in English, in MS WORD format, and should not exceed five (5) pages, double spaced, including references and figures. Authors should conceal their identity. Submissions that are over the 5-page limit will be rejected without review and considered for the regular journal issue. Note that summaries of full papers that have already been published elsewhere (including in another language) are not acceptable as short paper submission. It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure that the MS WORD submission has been uploaded successfully.

Submission Portal

Submissions must be submitted electronically to
https://telehealthandmedicinetoday.com/index.php/journal/about/submissions

Fees

At least one author must register for the conference once a paper is accepted. The early bird rate of $399.00 USD will apply. ALL AUTHORS will be granted full access to the HYBRID program including live and On Demand access to 2-Full Days of programming.

ConV2X will waive the registration fee for authors from lower-middle income countries as per the World Bank (click here for details). The Scientific Committee will give fair consideration to all submissions, and believes this should not be linked to the ability to pay. Where limited funding is available, ConV2X can provide a complete or partial waiver to authors, on request, AFTER a paper is accepted. Papers will be reviewed based strictly on MERIT. The quality and contribution it makes to the field supersedes the registration fee. The Scientific Committee believes this is paramount for fair and open exchange of research.
